A tracking method decides which fields you log for an exercise and how its personal record is calculated. Kairos has seven:
- Weight & Reps 🏋️ — log weight + reps. For strength work. (Your headline record is your Estimated 1RM.)
- Bodyweight Reps 💪 — log reps only. Pull-ups, push-ups.
- Duration Only ⏱️ — log a hold time. Planks, wall-sits.
- Distance & Time 🏃 — log distance + time. Running, rowing.
- Reps & Time 🤸 — log reps within a time. Conditioning.
- Cardio Equipment 🚴 — fields depend on the machine (treadmill, bike, rower, ski erg, stair, elliptical): speed, incline, power, cadence, calories, and more.
- Custom Tracking ⚙️ — define up to 3 fields of your own and pick which one tracks your PR.
